PARALLEL- describe lines in the same plane that never cross, or intersect
( never meet )
INTERSECTING- lines that cross at any angle.
PERPENDICULAR BISECTOR- a line that divides a line segment in half and is at right angle ( 90 degrees ) to the right segment
ANGLE BISECTOR- the line that divides an angle into two EQUAL parts
ACUTE ANGLE- angle less than 90 degrees
OBTUSE ANGLE- greater than 90 degrees
RIGHT ANGLE- exactly 90 degrees
FORMULA AREA OF TRIANGLE
FORMULA AREA OF PARALLELOGRAM
LABEL :
base 50m then the height is 2om . Find the area of parallelogram.
A= B x H
A= 20 x 50
A= 1000 m squared
LABEL :
CONVERT TO FRACTION, DECIMAL, PERCENT.
FRACTIONS out of ANY WHOLE NUMBERS
PERCENT out of 100
DECIMAL out of 1
Convert 2/ 5 into % and decimal
0.4 = 40 %
